Gelatin, a large molecule polymer, is one of the most important materials in photographic industry. This type of gel has higher standard than others. Biochemically, the photography-applied gelatin works as a carriers and a stabilizer of silver sensitive materials. Photographic gelatin modulates the sensitivity of the film. It has significant effect on phases of exposure and image develop of the film.
Photographic gelatin widely used in manufacture of the products of photographic film and paper, X-ray, and non-disruptive testing film, microfilm, graphic film, aerial images and holography.
